COMING CLOSER TO CHRIST:
Take a moment and imagine that you are with the disciples as Jesus begins to talk. You hear him say, “To the person who strikes you on one cheek, offer the other one as well…Give to everyone who asks of you….Do to others as you would have them do to you.” What is your immediate reaction to hearing these things? In what ways is this teaching challenging for you?

SERVING OTHERS:
The best dividends paid out in eternity are not what for I held onto for myself, but the measure I gave away myself to serve others. Don’t be caught at the end of life with unfulfilled good intentions to serve. Live today as it were your last day, and you will know how and whom you are to serve.
