“Peace be with You” Lk. 24:36. This is the greeting of the Risen Lord. Peace is given by his presence among us. Do we have true peace? Where do I look to get it from?

Soul Fitness Challenge
There is a moment in the mass when we exchange a sign of peace. This comes from Christ’s presence in the Eucharist. He has told us “I leave you peace, my peace I give to you” Jn. 14:27. This isn’t a practical greeting and sharing time. This is a gesture which emanates from Christ’s presence in our midst and we transmit to one another.

 Do you know Me, love and share Me?
“You are witnesses of all these things” Lk. 24:48. To be able to be witnesses of the peace of the risen Lord we need to be grounded in peace that we have been given. We need to spend time in the presence of the Lord and bring that peace into our relationships and work. Make some time this week to spend in Christ’s presence. Then find a situation or relationship where you can bring Christ’s peace to.
